Great instrument for a folk band or dulcimer group! Sounds just like a bass or cello. Doesn't require much talent to play. Just put one foot on the washtub, place the broomstick slot onto the edge of the washtub, and hold the stick out to the proper tension, and then strum on the string. Adds a wonderful background depth to any guitar or dulcimer or fiddle player.
